From the Film Set to the Roastery.
For over a combined 30 years, we have worked as a Gaffer, Chief Tech and IATSE technical instructors in the TV and film industry. In the world of entertainment production, precision isn't optional, it's a requirement.
Whether we are teaching the fine art of soldering or building complex lighting for a scene, every detail matters.
Coffee has always been the fuel behind those long days and nights on location. But we wanted more than just caffeine; we wanted the same level of technical excellence in our cup's that we were accustomed to onset.
Oak Roastworks is the result of that obsession and drive. Based in Algiers, New Orleans, Our approach to roasting is with the mindset of a technician and the soul of a creative.
This isn't mass-produced commodity coffee. This is a micro-lot project where every variable is controlled, analyzed, and perfected.

Our Philosophy
We believe that great coffee requires two things: exceptional raw materials (The Oak) and precise data ( The Works).
Our Roast Method
We roast on Aillio Bullet's, a machine that bridges the gap between commercial power and laboratory precision.
Unlike traditional roasting that relies on laggy probes, We utilize IBTS (Infrared Bean Temperature Sensor) technology. This allows us to read the exact surface temperature of the bean in real-time, ensuring that the roast profile matches the vision exactly. No guessing. No "feeling it out." Just consistent, data driven roasting that highlights the unique character of the bean.
The Tier System
We organize our coffees not just by roast level, but by "Architecture."
- Cenizo: The foundation. Bold, intense, Espresso-focused.
- Acacia: The structure. Light, airy, Pour-Over focused.
- Ceiba: The canopy. Complex, artisan selections.
